The Data Demon A Data Driven Site of (mostly) Renaissance Information, Photos and Links   So Who Am I ? I was born February 28th 1952 in Wembley, Middlesex, England, (which, for the soccer fans, was actually less than a mile from Wembley Stadium). I lived until age 15 in the North West London area, (Wembley, Kenton), and was educated (up to a point), at Harrow County Grammar School. At this point my family moved to Newton Abbot, Devon where I finished school and got a job that paid for my futher education, (at Plymouth Polytechnic). My Skills Somewhere in this educational mayhem, I discovered computers and a natural ability to understand the heiroglyphics that make them work. Thus began the long downhill slide that I like to call "most of my life", earning a crust with these technological wonders. I have programmed, over the years, DEC PDP-8 & 11, ICL 1901, Ohio Scientific C1 & C4, Commodore Pet & 8032 and Vic20 and C64, Sharp PC3201, Apple IIe, Radio Shack TRS80 Model 1 & II, IBM PC, (yes the original 4.77 MHz), IBM XT, IBM AT and all models since. I have programmed in DEC Pal8, DEC FOCAL, FORTRAN IV, BASIC, 6502 Assembler, 8086 Assembler, dBase III, FoxBase, Foxpro, and all versions of Visual FoxPro up to the almost released Version 8, HTML, XML, SOAP and ASP. I came to the states in 1983 as one of the authors of a program generator, "The Last One", and have been working here ever since. I have also, since about 1987, been working as a sound engineer for live performances, mostly bands, both as monitor engineer and front of house. I am still officially stage manager for the various formations of Bobby Cochran's Rock Around The Clock Show. ~ My Family ~ I have been married twice, currently to the gorgeous Karen, with a child from each marriage. I have a daughter of 23, Vivienne, who lives in Downey, CA and a son of 14, Charles, who is , of course, still at home. I have an older brother who lives in Southwest England with his family. I have recently, (2003) been accepted as an actor within the Queen's Court, and my son has been accepted to the Gentlemen Adventurers.
